Not a blog, but a list of random bric-a-brac of what I like and now I can move on to be my more opinionated self with what I DON'T like >:(...  And I got tired of having to scroll the screen down to the bottom of the page...hooray for the Lazies :)

Excel spreadsheets, orchestras tuning, steam-punk illustration, clean white boards, recess duty on sunny days, things shaped like the letter 'f', multiplying by 9, The Humming Chorus, labeling bee parts, world domination (in Risk only), playing with the f-stop, classical guitar, day after laundry day, grading that last paper, black dress nights, mittens vs. gloves or the mitten-glove combo, filling in calendars,  analogies, grinding coffee beans, paging myself on the school intercom, knitting, W-12s & in-line 6s, "Start-What's Inside", Wired "How To's", pie graphs, Pandora, books that have fun covers and then judging them (of course), skiing the blues (maybe a blue-black or 2), books that I have to read with a dictionary nearby, watching Dwight on The Office, technicalities, nice handwriting, colors that go together that shouldn't, syncopation, 3/4 time, instruments played EXCEPTIONALLY well, a driving base-line, farmer's markets, compliments & admirations, WORDS, languages, codes, facts, lists, tonality, heat, vast expanses, tapirs, being dry, intricacies, nomenclature, astro-physics, laughing at Republicans, quirks, anomalies, the minors keys (especially Eb), abundant talent, children's factoids, filling space with random words that represent what I enjoy in some far-fetched way, book fairs, the smell of a freshly lit cigarette (but not smoking-after the initial flame it's suffocating), milk doors, arguing, learning about personality types (I fit into the Amiable, Expressive, Blue, Persuader categories), discovering quotes from the books themselves, pressed glass tree ornaments, the smell of Crayola crayons and Scotch tape and old books and terra cotta, the color of lapis lazuli, jeans, keeping plants alive, vacuuming, circumlocutory phrasing, the word 'clever'

McManamon says:
One of the better laundry lists I've read.
