Sunflower Overload
No shopping for today. We’d intended this day to see nature & experience ancient towns.

We even had the chance to ride with an elephant and this gave us the perfect view of the whole sunflower fields.
Aside from the sunflowers, there’s a market at the entrance that we also checked out. Sunflower souvenirs were sold, including tasty Sunflower seeds. Exotic foods were also available. We ate dried maggots, crickets, even small frogs! They weren’t that bad after all. Actually, they’re tasty! Perfect pulutan for the alcoholic beverage Elexis bought. :)
