The Summary
Travel buddy Nora and I spent 7 days in Sao Tome: the first two days climbing Mt. Pico (tough! beautiful!), the second two days staying at a working plantation, and the last three days at an eco-resort on the beach "under renovation" (Read: no toilets, no running water, big holes in the cabin floors, and no other inhabitants. Three meals a day delivered in a basket with a lovely bottle of Portuguese wine on motorbike! In other words-- perfect!)
