Prior to Embarkation

So this is my first journal entry.  Not much to say at this point, except that I'm full of excitement and anxiety.  I'm sure that I'll arrive and have forgotten something essential like socks, but that's all part of the excitement.  As terrible as they are, I'm excited for the the 20+ hour bus rides, and occasional mishaps along the way. 

My flight for Los Angeles leaves tomorrow at 9AM so this is all until then.
