Birthday in Belize
Today was great. We settled into the little town of Placencia (population 600). We met this huge black guy Stan, from LA that set us up in his apartments on the beach here in town. Super nice guy, gave us a run down of everything little nuance of the town.
Then we walked down to the beach on sand all the way there and went for a swim in the warm Belizean water. The start of a great day.
Later that night we met up with people and went out for dinner. For my birthday I had steak and prawns, surely one of the if not the most expensive meal that I will have on the trip, but what the hell it's my birthday right.
After dinner we went out for some drinks and headed down to a karaoke bar where the locals were rocking to the hits of the 80's. Good times.
