Guam's bays and resort hotels.
Somewhere in the middle of the Pacific Ocean sits Guam, atop one of the highest mountains in the world, when measured from the bottom of the Pacific Ocean, an island plateau, resort adventure wonderland of white sandy shores, unique sealife, waterfalls, rivers, bays, rolling hills, majestic cliffs, historical caves, stoneworks, exotic seashells, starry nights, 80 degrees of tropical temperatures year round, and much cultural distinction. Beachfront resort hotels on Pale San Vitores Road surround Tumon Bay with sunsets over the Philippine Sea, plus watersports, golf, and ancient legacy, as the original Chamorros were enslaved under Spain for over three hundred years during the 1500's, as Spaniard Pirated travelled by ship criss-crossing the Pacific Ocean, using Guam as a pitstop for treasure galleons, as there as still sunken galleons to this day under the reefs of Guam.

Finally in the 1800's the U.S. Military freed Guam, then in the 1900's gave Guam its own independance as a free, unincorporated territory. Thanks to the U.S. Military, there are many imporovements, agriculture, public health, sanitation, education systems, land management, etc., all things that help in the prosperity of Guam. Did you know that the Ifit or Ipil tree is the territorial tree of Guam and that the Puti Tai Nobio or Bougainvellea Spectabilis is the official territorial flower? Also, throughout the 1900's immigrants migrated to Guam from the Philippines, Japan, Korea, China, Vietnam and the Micronesia's, enriching the culture with their own unique contributions. Guam has become multi-cultural, the variety of which is the attraction for tourism, along with white sandy beaches and water activities, historical & cultural landmarks, cosmopolitan dining & hotels providing cultural shows such as the dinner show at PIC's Pacific Island Club that offers a setting like out of the King Kong movie with fireshow with loud drumbeats and entertainers in wild costumes or Sand Castle's Guam Cocktail Show with special effects + multi-cultural cuisines, and an active nightlife.
