Savognin, Switzerland

My friends and I decided we wanna spend X-mas in another country. So we went to the travel agency and ask a lot of information about ski-resorts, hotels and that kind of stuff. After a few days we decided to go to Switzerland. We went back to the travel agency and we said: WE WANNA GO TO SAVOGNIN :-D After a few minutes of waiting, she said: Well.. It's almost done, have you got any further questions? Ofcourse we had a lot of questions, but no question about Savognin, we had a lot of questions about Portugal 2009, but anyway..

I was counting every second till the day we would finally go to Switzerland. Finally it was December 21^st 2008, so I packed my bags and I was ready for a new adventure.

After we checked in at the Cube Hotel, we had to wait a while, because “housekeeping” wasn’t ready cleaning the room. So we went to rent our snowboards and all that kind of stuff, changed clothes and went to the slopes near the hotel.

After a while we went back to the hotel. We’ve got our key cards of our room and when we opened the door, it looked totally different from the brochure. It was really small and looked like a prisoncell. But it didn’t matter to us.. We were finally in Switzerland and wanted to have a great time.

We went back to the slopes and had some more fun in the snow. After a long day at the slopes, we were tired and hungry and we went back to the hotel. When one of us was trying to take a shower, we find out that the shower door was broken. Ivo went downstairs to tell the hotel about this. They told us they would send someone to fix it, but no one came.

A few days went by and we had the best time at the slopes.

At X-mas eve the bomb exploded. We had an invitation of the hotel, to take part at the X-mas diner. We dressed up very nicely and went to the restaurant of the hotel. They told us we weren’t invited to the diner. So we went back to our room and went to sleep.. Cold, hungry and pissed off. After that it sucked even more. So if someone of you is thinking about going to Switzerland.. please do yourself a favour and don’t go to Cube Hotel Savognin. Pay a little more for a GOOD hotel and have the time of your life, because the slopes and everything around Savognin is really great!

We left the at December 27th 2008 very early, because we just had it! :-P After 6 hours we were allready back in the Netherlands.
