Why I went to Rarotonga

Aloha Airlines used to fly from Honolulu, Hawaii to Rarotonga in the Cook Islands.  One day I learned that Aloha Airlines was going to discontinue the route.  I had several hundred thousand frequent flier miles on Aloha Airlines which I had been accumulating with the intention of using them for a trip  to the Cook Islands.  I just never seemed to get around to actually going there.  My hand had been forced - it was finally time to go.
