Philippines! The country that made me fall in love again!

Tagatay and talisay

Tagaytay Philippines.

Tagatay are a small city where people from manila use to escape the life in the city.. Well.. its not like Metro Manila , but it is certainly not cool and quiet compared to living long away from people in Norway.. Tagatay is based around 600meters (so i was told) above sealevel and its much colder here than in manila.. Its also overlooking lake taal which can be a very nice wiew if its a clear day. Most days you cannot see so far beacause the pollution and dust in the air, but locals said i was unlucky with the date i where here.

Talisay is a small town where you have to go to if you want to climb (hike is a better word) taal volcano. If you ever are in manila going down to Talisay is not the worst way you can spend the day.

Transportation problems! The public transportation here in Philippines is not the best one.. To get from Pagsanjan to tagatay i had to drive the a wan.. Expensive and crowded. Its made for 11people but we where 15 or something so it was very crowded ,but if i wanted to get somewhere i had to use this wan.

AGAIN! To get from Tagatay to Batangas i also had to drive the wan to a place where the busses stop.. its expensive and crowded.. We where 16people in the wan so it was even more crowded than the last time.

Taal Volcano is a marvel to behold. After riding a small boat over the lake Taal to Taal volcano you better buy water. The walk up takes around 45mins and remember that its hot since there is no shelter from the sun.

I have som nice panorama shots from the top of the volcano. Send me an PM if you want.
