There is several beaches in Puerta Galera. To name a few:
White Beach: The place where filipinos go to have fun on the beach. It seems like a large gay comunity there if you are into that. No prostitutes (that i ran into). Alot of Bars and acomodation. Acomodation starts at P1000. (I bargained it down to 800)
Sabang Beach: Here you can expect that around 30% or more of the people you see are foreigners. There are alot of German and swedish bars and seems like alot of Germans and people from the US. The nightlife here is good, but the beach isnt that good so you only come here for the nightlife and the diving and snorkeling. There is VERY GOOD diving and snorkeling here. Just go snorkeling for some hours and you will see some good coral reefs.. To see a foreigner with a MUCH younger filipina girl is not uncommon and there is alot of prostitutes here. (if you are into that).. Be aware of girls being nice to you , it sucks that it have to be that way, but its the way it is). Acomodation from P500 and up (read my other review about Sonnys INN).. PS: If you want cheap food go a littlebit away from the city and find the places that the locals eat. (P70 for chicken curry or P35 for Noodles and Rice)
Aninuan Beach. Lying just 1km away from White beach.. If you take a swim outside of white beach you can see some nice mountains and they are even greater in Aninuan. So its nice to go there and see and you have the beach almost for yourself. (most people only go to white beach)
Other Beaches i didnt visit:
Small Laguna (500meters from Sabang) on the road that you find hemmingsway on the way out of town.
Big Laguna Beach. 1km from Sabang in the direction of Small Laguna.
Coco Beach. You have to get here by boat which is expensive,but the locals says its very rewarding.
-Alot of other beaches.. Its over 15beaches here!
BE AWARE THAT THERE IS NO ATMs IN PUERTO GALERA!! If you really need money you can go to Filipino Travel center , but they will charge you 5-7percent (5.5 with VISA , a littlebit more with other cards)

14km outside of Puerto Galera lies Tamaraw Falls. Its a waterfall with tables and chairs to sit and see waterfalls. This is the perfect way to get away from the beach and all the noise from people asking if you want to buy something from them.. Pack a good lunch and bring some beers and just sit in the sun with the sound of the nearby waterfalls.
Its also refreshing to dive in 2 small ponds of water. Even though all the filipino people will laugh at you. Its nice to see by you own ,but its best to bring someone since the place was almost empty when i where there. (only 1 british guy where there)
This is a mustsee if you are in the area,but not worth going to puerta Galera for (but there is several other reasons for that)
Did i mention that there is several people in Sabang (A beach in puerto Galera) that aranges tours here for P1000? By youself you can do it for P120 and have the place for yourself. (P30 Sabang-Puerta Galera Return , P70 Puerta Galera-Tamaraw falls Return, P20 Entrance)
