Last day in London
Arrived at Buckingham Palace around 11AM.. I (un)fortunatly arrived in time to see the changing of the guard, but there where huge amounts of people planning to see the same things so if you dont meet up many hours before the actual even you should visit Buckinham Palace some other time..
Again with the Tube.. Its almost impossible to take to tube in the weekends. With closed stations , closed lines and delays youre better of with the bus.. or even walking.. The problem is that im not so familiar in london so i dont know which bus to get on or where to get off.. But something good came out of this. When i had to walk from Enbankment to Bank i came over the Lloyds coffe house! All seamen (should) know that this is where modern insurance of ship started and the Lloyds Register of shipping is today one of the biggest insurance companies.. So i got i picture of the plauqe to brag about to my fellow seamen :D
My stay here in London is comming to and end. Leaving 10AM from Gatwick to Manila with a layover in Doha (Qatar). Its actually pretty sad since i havent had time to do all the things i wanted to do.. London is truly an amazing city with alot of good sights , but you have to sort out some of the things to get most of the "feel" of the city in the shortest amount of time.
I will be back and see the sights i missed during my full 4days here in London. These are the things ive been to:
Tower Of london , Londons Eye , Madame Tussauds , National Maritime Museum , Royal Observatory , Shakespeare globe , HMS Beltfast and the Wallace Collection. Im sure ive forgot something here..
Things ive missed: Churchhill museum , Imperial War museum , Firepower! , The rest of maritime Greenwich and loads of other stuff.. As one (slightly) more famous person than me said so long ago: Ill be back!
The admission price is 16 GBP for Adults and 13 GBP for students so is rather on the expensive side , but with such an extensive collection is not that bad. If you want to can easily spend an entire day here and not see the same thing twice. There is also one tour every 30minutes starting from the entrance which is a good place to start. The guide is very informative and has a good sense of humor. He also speaks very clearly so even people with poor english skills will understand. There is also audio tours in other languages for those who doesnt understand english (but i dont think that apply if you are reading this..hehe).
The Guards (Or the beef eaters as they are called) are helpfull and their knowledge of the place is extensive.
Overall a great experience. Suggested time 4hours including lunch.

There is a reason for that. Here are a few things:
The rooms are spacious in good condition.
You will get bedsheets for no extra fee.
They have their own bar and shop.
Since its big its alot of people to get to know
Great location (2mins from the Stamford Brook on the District line)
The drawback is that the Hostel is just to big. Its not like a cozy hostel in eastern europe or other places. There is no charm..
But.. since there is so many people living there it will be som clashed from time to time. And it happened to me and this other Norwegian guy i met there. Two dutch guys just after trouble starting to insulting us and claming that we where insulting them. When i went to the restroom by myself they followed me and blocked the door and started to say that they would kick my ass and such things.. Luckily someone else tried to use the bathroom so i was off the hook. Im was not scared since this have happened before ,but its unfortable and not the thing you want for your holiday..
I gave it 4stars since the service is good and price is low ,but if you count these people into the picture it would only be a two-star place.. You want to have fun on your holiday and not having to avoid people at the same hostel.
PS. There is great italian resturant nearby.. Se my other review.
