The Travbuddy NYE Meet-up!
My traveling....and go to the hotel...
I had plans to go to Amsterdam not late, but I had to do a few things so I went on the train during the day and arrived around 4PM... I had contact with Sylvie, Ket and a few others... I went with the train for 2 hours and 30 minutes... Afther I arrived... Alex.. Ket, Vanhalme (Edwin) were waiting for me... That was so great, but also expected Sylvie and very soon afther that Sylvie came... I went with Sylvie to the Movenpick hotel (See Review) 5 to 10 minutes walk from the trainstation... The others went for a drink, but I had to bring my baggs out there... The hotel looked great and when I got up I saw James there.. Later on I met Lynn also from the USA... Lynn stayed for one night to the Hilton Hotel.
The TB NYE Party 2009
I hanged out a litle in the room and James and I needted to be at the boot at 7PM to make the boot more a partyboot etc. I stayed there for more then a hour and it was very cold that evening... Alex picked us up and we walked to the partyboot and it was a 10 minutes walk... We made it a partyboot and James had wonderfull NYE stuff with him and did a great job by doing that! I went back later on with James to dress up for the party... I did not had eat anything yet and tryed to get foods, but the roomservice was not fast that evening and very busy.. They said it will take at least a hour, but I did not had time... Later on we went to the boot and we wanted to be there before thje people came in.
Alex and Anna did a great job by renting this boot and the location... The party and the whole NYE meet-up was sooooo wonderful.. I had so much fun and mt so many new people from the Netherlands and over the world.... Again... It was to short and I did not had to change to talk with all the new ones... The ones I know from other meet-ups I wanted to talk with them to, because I had already had a band with them.... The music was great... There was a lot of variaty and it was just perfect... There was enough foods and drinks on board. Anna was the girl that did most of the oranzing..... Thanks girl.... You were the best, again.... Alex who helped a lot in keeping contact on TB and answard many questions on the forum... HOw can I forget James... He was also the men who did a lot for this big NYE meet-up and made it also succesful..... Devika and I did helped, but James, Alex and Anna did most of it during the 31th, the bootparty! Thank you guys for making this meet-up during NYE the best!
