We made it........but

Even though we left Perth 30minutes late we managed to get across to the international terminal just in time. Well, just in time to see that our flight had been delayed from 13.55 to 15.00. This wasn't good news, we only had 3 hours at the other end to pick up our luggage, clear immigration, go through customs and catch our flight to Boston, now we only had just under 2 hours to do all that.

By the time we reached the transfers desk in order to plead for better seats the flight had moved again to 16.00. It was now impossible to make the transfer in under an hour, something which the lady on the transfer desk confirmed. Apparently they will look at all the connecting passangers during the flight and sort something out. We did get some good news* though, apparently we've been upgrade to Premium Economy.

* the reason I'm sceptical is because they don't normally operate Premium Economy on this route. How do I know this....because we tried to upgrade to Premium at the Qantas ticket office on Friday.
