Wine Country

Today we left the coast and headed inland a little to visit wine country, our destination - Cessnock. I didn't really know alot about our destination, other than it was smack back in the middle of Hunter Valley and had a Big4 campsite.
The difference in heat from the coast was immense, we'd left a slightly windy 29 ish degrees in Port Macquarie and walked straight into a dead calm 39 degrees in Cessnock. Things had just got too hot to actually function, we just put the awning up and sat down with a book. I was actually surprised at the amount and variation in type of people actually in the campsite, expecting just middle aged wine buffs. Needless to say the air-con had to run for a conformatable nights sleep.
