Old Friend

Today we made our way from Fremantle to the Northern suburbs of Perth to meet up with an old friend and his family who have just emigrated to Australia.

He put on a lovely BBQ for us, as he'd promised to do ever since reading about all the pork meals we'd been eating in Cambodia. Everyone there even tried kangaroo steak, with I think only one person willing to actually try it again if on offer.....the rest have just chalked it up as an experience.

As Woo mentioned on the night, it was nice to be able to sit at a full size table for a change and I guess for Woo it was nice to have some adult conversation ;o)

Both Quinns Rocks and Mindarie seem like great places.
