So my stay in Chicago has now gone from five weeks to the end of april, always a good thing, and for once the weather is actually nice.  Chicago has proven to be a city with a doctor jeckyl mr hyde effect.  Some days it is beautiful out, the next it is cold as hell, snowing, and life sucks.  Finally the weather is good, and I even met a nice girl who’ve all business.  So this weekend is St.Patty's day, which is pretty much a drunken fest, full of undersexed, oversoused chicago-lites drinking their guiness, piling into buildings, and has a generally chaotic and drunken time.  The catch.... oh my parents invited themselves up for this weekend to check out my new place in the downtown area and put a halt to any of my drunken adventures.

Luckily it has proven to be a good wholesome time, and ended up getting drunk with my old man, which is a great thing.  So there were a number of fun St.Patty days events, we chose seeing the Chicago river get dyed green, which is an interesting fact since the river is already kind of green.... very nice, right?

And my life?  Well I've finally met a nice girl, but it looks like I'm about to ship out to the Virgen Islands..... sigh
