Drive through the night
Because a limit of time so we had to make a long drive during the night from Maehongson to Tak. The local road to Mae Sot city was quite dangerous. No light - no house - no people! Stephane slept in the back, Ale drove, I talked (to keep him awake). I was scared, yes. No one's around for about 4-5 hours I think. And it's small. Just only one car can drive at a time. We stopped one time to smoke ... at the factory. Only a dog and a little light there. Oh .. my!
We don't know where to stay in Mae shot yet. Opened the guide book again. But we can't find the place so we went to ask the 7-11's staff. Better! :) The room is nice - but the hotel isn't that much.
In the morning we planned to go to see the Thai-Myanmar Friendship Bridge. Ale wanted to cross the bridge to Myanmar to extend the visa. I'd like to go with him too.
Stephane doesn't want to go there. So we waited for Ale at the Thai boarder. Nothing to see around there. Ok, there's Mouy River Market. But nothing's interesting to buy. We walked around there. At the boarder there are a lot of burmeses selling cigarettes, candy and VIAGRA! When they saw me with stephane, they said "Hello mister, Hello madam, cigarettes??" We said no. (I think it's fake anyway). Then they said "What about viagra? Boom Boom!! ??? Pam Pam"! Hahahaha ... sorry we don't need it!
One hour later Ale came back. The engine was started again.
