1864 curves
We passed 1864 curves already?!
About one - two hours we arrived Maehongson at the center of it. I wanted to take off my clothes, it was really HOT! Wow, I was there in the wrong wrong time! This city is dry. Really. We parked the car in the center of the city. There's a pool in the middle surrounded by the temple, restaurants and guesthouses. We don't know which way to go, what to do, what to see .. but really hungry. But before having lunch, we should find a guesthouse to stay. Eveyone around there were full. We got one - ok, not too far, Romthai Guesthouse. Nice place - yes and just 500THB per room per night. We took it!
I don't see people but why the guesthouses were full? I don't know. For me, I think this city isn't a touristic place but just a by pass.
People stop there to go to Mianmar or after they're back from Mianmar- maybe. We had late lunch at Sunflower Pub and Restaurant. It seemed to be one of the restaurant that we can eat. Ordered .. ate ... smoked ... relax!!!! :D
Then we walked to the nearest temple, Jong Klang temple and drove around to search for some more places to see. We went to the tourist information point, they closed! So we went back to the guesthouse - nothing to do indeed. Just waited for tonight to go to the night market .. which is really different from Pai. It's quiet! Really quiet! Full of shop sellers but not too many tourists.
I bought the hand made northern dolls for my colleagues. And just that .. done! We don't know what to do. Trying to plan about tomorrow. We went to the same bar - to drink - and back to bed...
Well, this quiet city made us sleep early than we thought.
