Hard Rock baby!
After the night we had I thought I would have slept in. Well, I did a bit. Woke up at 11 am instead of 8. I will count that as sleeping in. This is the day that Esh and Sharon would be arriving. I wondered how they would be. Cecily, Esh and Sharon know my sister. They use to work together. I woke up with no headache! YES! But I did feel groggy. Regardless, it was a bright and sunny morning, almost noon! PERFECT! I loved it! I could tell it was going to be a great day! Everybody else was a bit slow in getting up and I don’t blame them. I can’t believe I woke up. Cecily was up as well. I put on my bathing suit because it was perfect weather for THE BEACH! I never got tired of hanging out at the beach. I was a total beach bum! Klarke was the last one to wake up, being the lazy butt that she is.
When they arrived we were in the room, well, except for Cecily. She was in the living room with them. I was like, eh I’m so lazy to go and introduce myself! But I did. It would have been rude of me to do otherwise. I walked in and they looked at me and Esh said, “You are Yvette’s sister, right? You resemble each other.” Now mind you, I have always said that I do not look like her at all, and I stick to that to this day! But we always get that. Weird. I guess we are the only two that do not see it. I sit with the three of them and we start the small talk. Turns out that they are freaking great! No problems with us getting along. The first thing that they want to do is go to WalsMart and get food, so off the three of them go and leave us to do our own thing for the meanwhile. Well, I of course say to head out to the beach. Erika agrees since she loves the beach just as much as I do.
Erika and I
Klarke stayed in the room of course because she needed more sleep and we headed to lie out and get tanned. I tan very easily. So half an hour later I’m re-applying sun block to my shoulders and face since that is where I usually get burned. Erika, no matter what she does, cannot get any darker. She was applying tanning lotion. I applied that to my legs because that’s where I have trouble getting darker. We must have been out there for about a while because I feel I got pretty dark. Erika felt like she didn’t get dark at all! We went back to the room to see if Klarke was all rested. She was still sleeping. We woke her up! We were tired of this! NO WAY was she going to spend the day sleeping in. I don’t recall what we did the entire day. We must have been at the beach, because that is all I can recall. But I do know that later that night was awesome.
The six of us got dressed and ready to head on out to partay!
Once we were all ready we went to catch the bus and since there are so many that pass by, we caught one right away. That’s the good thing about the city, so many buses! At our exit, we started walking towards all of the action packed section. There were so many places to choose from. We ended up going to a club called The City. That nightclub is pretty big.
It has a stage and the main bar. The bar was big as well. They had some really good drinks. I had a Mai Tai, Malibu and pineapple juice (simple but delicious!) as well as a few other drinks. No tequila this time! The music that was being played was hip hop, and a bit of house music. I wish they would have played more house music. We found our place close to the bar because even though the place was packed, that was the spot with the most room to move. Weird, I know. The club also had some lounge chairs that looked really comfortable, too. All night long they served shots and drinks (not strong, though) for free. We danced the night away. It was great! The workers at this place have no problem taking you out and dancing, either. I thought that was different. Fun, too! The performance of the night was this guy with fire. He did his thing and it was fun to watch. The best part of his show was the music playing while he was performing. It was Sandstorm by Darude. I love that beat! We ended the night/morning like at 3 am because we had to get up bright and early for a tour the next day…well, not a tour, but a tour of another hotel in a different part of the city.
hmmm...weird and out of the ordinary!
