Pit stop in Houston

We landed in Houston and we had a couple of hours lay over. We got off the plane and we had to catch a tram from one terminal to another. The tram is freaking awesome! I loved that little ride. I wanted to go back and forth a couple of times, but I didn’t. I controlled myself! =P But we finally found our gate.  What did we do during that time? Nothing really. Just relax and wait. Erika and I went to buy some food from Panda Express. We had not had anything to eat so we were hungry. That airport is beautiful! I enjoyed it.

I turned on my phone to let my mom know that I was halfway there.

We finally started boarding the plane and I thought we had the emergency exit seats. Being on that aisle freaks me out. I was nervous because I thought we had to sit there. It turns out we didn’t and that was a huge relief for me! Our flight was a couple of hours long and again, it was uneventful. We did have a pocket of turbulence and this one time we were moved hard. But besides that one, it was smooth. I had the window seat. I love the window seat so I could look out at the sky and see how beautiful it looks. And while I was looking out I knew that those calls were because someone in my family had passed away. I didn’t know who it was at that time, but it was a gut feeling. I was trying not to think about it and enjoy the flight, but it was hard. Throughout the entire flight I stared out the window. Seeing how beautiful the sky looked was a comfort to me. We heard the pilot say that we would be landing in about 15 minutes. I could not wait to land in Cancun.
