An overnight trip from Eindhoven to Antwerp and then on to Brussels. Waffles, beer, and lots of sightseeing! My first time in Belgium!

UNESCO Site - Grand Place / Grote Markt

Up and out early! We headed over to drop our luggage off in the car and found the parking garage was a ghost town compared to the night before when we could barely find a spot!

We then headed by my new favorite place (the beer store nearby lol) and decided we would come back on our way out and bring a few home with us!

Next was back to the Grand Place to see it during the day and start our sightseeing tour. What a different atmosphere compared to the night before! Last night was wall to wall people and today, it was fairly empty with some tourists wandering through. The restaurants had open tables and I could actually see the entire Square, not just the tops of other peoples' heads! HAHA.

A bonus as mentioned earlier is the Grand Place is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, being added to the list in 1998. I'd like to come back when they do the large flower carpet for a couple days (middle of August every year I read).
