France, Luxembourg, Belgium

This was an awesome day! It actually started early in the morning when we arrived in Strasbourg, France. The 5 of us were sitting in one of the rooms talking about the day and I guess we got a little loud because pretty soon we got a call from the front desk asking us to be quiet. Oops. :-) So James, Julie & I decided to head out into the town and see what it looked like at night. Again, I'm hoping Julie has pictures because I left my camera in the room. It was so surreal out in the town, dead quiet, reminded us of a movie set or something, not quite real, but beautiful. After we had almost frozen ourselves to death once again, we headed back to the room to sleep.
We finally found one after a hysterical 4-wheel drive up the side of a mountain...we laughed so hard. We tasted wine and bought several bottles for the road, I mean for later that evening at Brett's (or both, I can't remember). :-) Then it was on to Luxembourg, where it was dark by the time we arrived. The funniest thing I remember was a sign a short distance after entering Luxembourg that said Belgium 18km or something like that! It was so dark and cold, we unfortunately weren't able to do or see much there. :-( After Luxembourg, I drove most of the way back to Brett's house, averaging about 140kmh or so...sounds fast, but it's only about 85mph. :-))
