The bath of Aphrodite

I try to get to a small place at the end of the island where the goddess of the island - Aphrodite - came to have a bath when she had entertained her lovers. She had a bath in a small grotto surrounded by some trees with water dripping down from the cliffs on top of the grotto. It is a very small little place and you are not allowed to go for a swim hence you will not meet present day Aphrodite taking a bath - not that there would be space for more than one or two at the same time because of the tiny size of the grotto.
I head back to Pafos without finding Aphrodite hence I need to continue my search - but on the road there are some reminders of the more recent history of the island. I see a couple of white 4wd cars with blue number plates and big UN markings on the side of the car. This is a clear symbol of the division of the island which happened back in 1974 after a short war between the Greeks and the northern side aided by the Turks. The UN has been present ever since then keeping the peace and making sure the two sides remain on their own side of the Green Line dividing the island.
