An idyllic German town

The town has some dense wooded areas were you can take a stroll into the forest for some quiet contemplation/meditation, or where you can achieve some elevation to take in some lofty views of the town.
During December there is a small christmas market of around a dozen stalls. Small is the operative word, but I at least found my favourites - Glühwein (a traditional warm spicy red wine), Crêpes (thin pancakes served with.... you name it), and Currywurst (need I explain?). Mmmm Currywurst...... Ahem yes...I shall continue...
I can hear you hardcore tourists enquiring..."but what is there to DO in Limburg?" Well thanks to some local knowledge it was discovered that this lovely historical community does harbour a bowling alley and a nightclub/disco (called "Limburg Musicpark"). So after taking in all the medieval marvels you can indeed shake your groove thing into the wee hours....
As a tourist you would be unlikely to spend more than a day here, but if you are interested in experiencing a well preserved time capsule from medieval Germany it could be a day well spent.
