I hope you enjoy my journey as much as I do!

hong kong

watch out torvill and dean!

woke up early AGAIN! it was still pouring of rain (who said it wasnt monsoon season!) so i guess going to the beaches is out of the question!

so we went ice skating! lots of fun, although i did fall over trying to stop my cousin from falling over and no, she didnt fall over in the end! walking back through the shopping centre (where ice rink was) there was an acrobatic display. as chinese new year is coming up they have loads of events, etc to see. they were amazing! similar to cirque du soleil.

the walk back through causeway bay was horrendous! it was a saturday and it felt like the whole of china had turned up! it doesnt help that they have no idea of personal space and therefore push you, stamp on you and generally not notice you!

we went for a meal at the top of victoria peak where you have the most amazing view over hong kong at night- very pretty with all the lights. after this we went to lan kwai fong and the soho area where there are loads of pubs and clubs (and yes, westerners!). the second bar we went in we were immediately accosted by a group of middle aged american business men who said we could stick our drinks on their tab! and we hardly spoke to them all night- result!
