first day at work

after being told by jen not to surface before 10am (or half 10 if i want! they have obviously taken on the aussie way of life!) we go through the half hour of cleaning i have to do in the mornings..... and then do nothing until 3pm when the pub opens! wicked!
after relaxing some more (in the sun) and watching some corrie (v.old though!) adrian shows me how to open up. the bar wasnt too busy which was good for my first shift! although because the glasses are smaller you obviously have to fill them up quicker! they dont drink pints like us pommies (well, a few do!) they have a midi (half pint) and a glass (even smaller!).
everyone is super friendly and chatty, a jolly good first day at work! and i was finished by 11!
