I hope you enjoy my journey as much as I do!

all is well... in the end

just had the crappest couple of days since getting here, i guess it was inevitable!

first, the messed up my tax number and so i wasnt going to get paid until it was sorted. second, i realise i may have missed my window to get the train from adelaide to perth (that i'd already paid for). i end up crying in my landlords office (it helps if you are REALLY upset about not being able to pay your rent on time- hee hee!).

luckily, i sort tax shit out and get paid a few days later, and i managed to change my travel date to perth- yay! so, bugger, ive actually planned a bit more of my journey!! feels great- im so over working and the english weather! i can concentrate on actually travelling again!!!

bloody trams!

so after doing a dry run yesterday to see how long, etc it would take me to get to work i thought i would be sorted this morning. does it run smoothly this morning? does it heck!! aparently the tram i got yesterday only runs on the weekend and on public holidays!! typical! and yes, i will be complaining to the tram company. they should really put some kind of notice up to tell people this sort of vital information! luckily get there with minutes to spare and end up having a good day. especially at the end of the day as we saw the queens baton relay come right past the nursery- how exciting!
