Eastern Caribbean Route
This cruise was my first full-week cruise experience. Leaving from Fort Lauderdale, Florida, the journey began as me and six of my friends headed toward the Eastern Caribbean with the first port stop scheduled in San Juan, Puerto Rico. Other ports were to include San Juan, St. Thomas, St. Maarten, and the Bahamas.
Warm winds, calm seas, lavish food, and a whole lot of fun!
Setting food on board for the first time was decadent! We were greeted by a crisply dressed butler who handed each of us a glass of champagne and happily escorted us to our room. We actually did feel like celebrities about the Celebrity Century. The staff was mostly European, all of them warm and friendly with big smiles and a willingness to welcome us onto the ship as it if were home.
