Houston, just a layover and then to Lima...

This would be the 1st time I wouldn't spend NYE in Peru! My plan was going to Ecuador with some friends, but at the last minute I was told I have to go to New Orleans because of work. Would that ruin my NYE? No way! If life hands you lemons, make lemonade ;) So, instead of flying back home the 30th and arriving the 31st, I'd stay in the States. Spend some time in the great New Orleans and go to Austin for NYE and party, party, party :)

Houston, just a layover and then to Lima...

The flight was short and good. Although we arrived to Houston a bit later it wasn't bad at all, since I had to wait around 3 hours to catch my flight to Lima. I had to do the check in and drop my bag. Then I was free to explore the airport. Actually, there wasn't much to explore since I have been here quite a few times, 2 in the last week, haha.

I was getting a bit hungry and since I had time, I'd get something to eat. What? something simple and light. After have been living with boys who are always eating pizza and chips, the veggies sounded just wonderful! After eating and reading, I still had time... Oh! I remembered I was still missing a present for my brother and another for my aunt who has birthday the 15th.

So I started looking for them in the gift shops. The result: Bad luck with my brother's gift, but good luck with my aunt's one, hehe. And also I bought something for me, hehe. Well, I deserve a gift too :P Finally I went to my gate and waited there until we started to board. I wouldn't fly 1st class this time, but at least I would be sit in one of the first rows, hehe. I was just wondering who would sit next to me... hopefully somebody fun :)
