According to Kyon we'd be 8 people, so we asked for a table for 8 and started to wait. We moved to the bar area. None of us wanted to have alcohol. Give our liver a break! Kyon arrived a couple of minutes later and then more and more people started to show up.
By 1:30pm we got our table. I like the atmosphere of this place, so laid back. This wasn't my first time here. Actually my 1st time here was also with Mihn :) We got more chips and salsa. Brian was the salsa expert and I asked him if it wasn't as good as the one we had last night, but it wasn't. At this point he remembered he had the other salsa in the fridge, haha. Kyon was taking pics with everyone. This would be his goodbye lunch and he loves pics! I think as much as me, which is quite a lot, haha.
We spent there around 2 hours, just chilling out and enjoying the beautiful day and company of friends. During the morning I was trying to contact Kenneth in order to know if he had plans for later. Last night he told me he'd meet some school friends, but didn't say at what time. So, I gave him a call. He just came back from lunch and would meet his friends at 4pm. Mmm, we would drive Kyon to the airport first and then we could go to meet Kenneth. Mihn and Brian would hang out with an old friend and I would hang out with a TB, sounds good to me! Mihn is the greatest, he felt responsible for me, his guest, and wanted to be sure I'd be okay hanging out with someone he didn't now.
We were almost arriving to the place we'd meet Kenneth, when we got a phone call from Kyon. He left his camera in the car! Brian found it and we drove back to the airport. OMG! If I'd have lost my camera, I'd have done exactly the same and call everyone until I found it, hehe. Around 4pm we met Kenneth. He had already talked to his friends letting them know he'd be a bit late and ... with a Peruvian surprise, that's me!!!
But before going, we'd stop at his house. It was getting a bit windy and a sweater would be a good idea. Also his mother wanted to meet me, hehe. So sweet! Well, some TB's had met my mom in Lima, so meeting his mom wasn't strange for me at all, but definitely was something new. She'd be the 1st TB's mom I met in real, awesome!!! now Kenneth has to meet my mom too, in order to do that he has to visit Lima, haha.
And... I had a gift for Kenneth. I brought something from him from Lima, a pisco? no... an Inca Kola!!! We left that in the fridge and started the drive to the Shady Grove... well, the Shady Grove meeting and after party would be part of my other blog... why? well, Kenneth wants to be part of my famous Meeting Travbuddies blog, haha. So...

In our way to meet his friends, we noticed there were some boats in the river.
Oh! I was forgetting. First thing I did this morning was trying to delay my flight but the airline would charge me US$200 for the International flight!!! No way!!! This was about principles. They had enough money and these US$200 would be more appreciated by me, hehe. So, another reason to come back to Austin....
