Sitting in ' Corso base di broncoscopia' for anesthesiologists at Centro Renata Fiandacca... it was exactly where I wanted to go and learn together with an international group!  Perfect fit! I was actually told by the chief of anesthesia that it's inpractical for me to learn this way, and that I would never get to Italy and get anything out of it, but here I am, sitting in a lecture all in Italian, surrounded by transplant anesthesiologists and enjoying every minute of it!  I understood maybe 80% of the conversation, and intuitively interpreted the other 20% and got a lot out of the course.

Outside it's spitting foul weather, occasional pea hail, and terrible winds, but what can you do?
