Special Menu - Chez Gerard Restaurant, London, England - front

In London we were bussed to Chez Gerard Restaurant for a very special meal.  After dinner we walked to the dock just across the street and took a leisurely cruise along the Thames.

 

Just in case you can’t read the menu I photographed here is the menu.

 

Melted leeks and Roquefort tartlet

Or

Hearty Onion Soup with croutons and gruyere

Or

Our own cured blue chip salmon in dill and cracked pepper, honey and herb mayonnaise

Salad of mixed leaves, fennel, grapefruit and red peppers dressed with lime and extra virgin olive oil

Breast of chicken filled with cheese and spinach with grilled field mushrooms, white wine cream sauce and roasted new potatoes

Or

Fillet of salmon baked in puff pastry with saffron butter sauce and hot new potato and caper salad

Or

Roasted shallot “tarte tatin” topped with grilled goat’s cheese, served with salad leaves and honey dressing

A rich dark chocolate mousse

Or

Sharp lemon tart with crème fraiche and blackcurrent coulis

Or

Fresh vanilla egg custard topped with sugar crust

Filter coffee with chocolates
