Bookends

Among the first additions to my medieval collection was this pair of plastic bookends.  They stand about eight to nine inches tall and are attached to a black base that slips under the books to help keep them in place, because by themselves they are too lightweight to hold by themselves.  I thought they were pretty nice for the time when I didn’t have some of the newer and more elaborate pieces.  They are pretty nicely detailed for their size.  Trying to remember when and where I got them has been difficult.  To my recollection they were found at a swap meet.
