Day 14 on the boat.  we finally got boat tickets to phnom penh which were expensive $22us each but it was good fun.  when we first got on the boat at about 6.30am everybody got on the roof and it was so close to capsizing with about 90 ppl sitting on this thing about 2m wide and 30m long.  finally got stabelized and managed to work our way down this tiny river full of fishermen.  then got out into the main lake which was huge reminded me of lake titicaca but there were no mountaisns around apparently it grows about 3 times the size in the wet season and it was massive it took us about 3 hrs to get across and most the time you couldnt see any land.  we finally got to the river and made our way down it to phnom penh where we got a took took from the dock to the HAPPY gesthouse which cost us $2us a night including the 10minute took took ride so cheep but then the meals were about $1.5 us each so that compensated.  so went for a bit of a walk dotn to a market where chelc go heaps of fake luiviton bags and a nice watch then back to sleep fairly early.

Day 15 just a nice tour around the town with a visit to the tuol sleng museam which was where they committed the genocide it was pretty touching all the pictures of tourture and stuff.  then went to another market and wandered around befor relaxing back at our hotel which was the nicest place.  it had a deck over this lake which was pretty big and a brillant green colour they also had hammocks music and a tv which we watched a dvd while relaxing and reading up on thiland.

Day 16 this is the big one.   Up nice and early at 5.30 for a 6am pickup to the bus then a nice 5hr journey to siennavill on the cambodian coast then hurried a 15minute moto ride to the ferry terminal  a nice quick 4 hour ferry ride in the sea to kroh kong the thai border and another 20 minute moto  ride then wait and hour at the border and cross finally into a minivan with some nice german girls and a american faimly and on the road for another hour to Trat then arrive there at about 8pm and decide to get the 11pm bus back to bangkok because then we wont have to get a hotel so did that after chilling out at the Trat night market and going to this nice bar with the Germans and onto the freezing bus at 11pm luckey they supplied a rug but had a fairly bad sleep until we arrived at 4am into bangkok.
