Raanalhi, Maldives

Having completed the turf portion of our trip, the remainder of our time was spent on the fantastic Raanalhi Island in the Maldives.  It's beautiful!  We had to take a half hour speed boat ride south from Male.  Our bungalow is built on stilts on a reef with a glass floor in the bedroom through which we can see rainbow-colored fish swimming below.  It's merely a jump off the balcony into snorkel paradise.  Over four days, I saw, in addition to nearly every color and size of tropical fish imaginable, two sea turtles, two morrey eels, a dozen manta rays and a black tipped reef shark!  I swear it was circling me on purpose too!
