Royal Wedding Parade in Brunei

Royal Marching Band

To celebrate the Royal Wedding of the Sultan's daughter, many activities were planned.  Not to mention the repetitive greetings and music videos in the local channel and all the banners that seem to be "required" of shops to be put up.

One of the biggest concluding activities was the Royal Parade downtown.  The newly weds ride the prestigious carriage (made of a modified luxury car) along with marching bands, men and women in traditional attire, members of the very much extended Royal Family and of course His Majesty himself.

It was a pretty big day and almost everyone in the country probably flocked downtown.  Lucky for us tourists/foreigners who were able to witness such unique occassion.  I believe the Sultan LOOKED AT ME while he was waving and I was shouting like crazy and taking photos like a paparazzi who hasn't had a good shot in weeks.
