TUESDAY
...when I found out that i had left my phone charger at home in Australia I went for a walk to a place called Carphone Warehouse and bought one - I was desperate and really just extremely grateful that i found one that fit my phone because I was in no hurry at all to spend money I didnt have on a new one!! Anyways, the Carphone Warehouse that I went to was a couple stops away on the underground and after walking around for a couple minutes, I accidentally found myself at Buckingham Palace...accidentally??! It was quite amusing =D

WEDNESDAY
Nothing but a bit of boring stuff happened today while i was waiting for Rachelle to get in at 9:30pm. I had to go in and work out what was happening with my international calling on my phone - now that i had a charger i was able to put my phone to good use lol.

Putney was .retty sure it still is.. cute =)
Oh, I take back that bit about not doing much else - I took the Underground to Putney bridge and walked around and took a few photos. One of the old regulars from my pub back home grew up in Putney and told me I had to go there...or else! Anyway, come 9:30, Yay for seeing Rachelle haha!!! We booked out scotland trip on the internet when we got back to the hotel in Earls Court

THURSDAY
We purchased our Big Bus tickets in the morning and spent the day doin the touristy things on the bus. We did Madam Tussaudes and had a few good laughs. Made a video looking up and down and everywhere for dear Marilyn and Elvis - they werent in the room that they were sposed to be in!!! They werent with James and Audrey! It was so scary thinking that they might be gone altogether!! But its ok, stress less people - we found them; Safe and Sound! Then we did a Ghost tour at night which took us around London and told us a little history and "stories" and stuff.

We found them..
.. didnt see a ghost though, I was ready for it and everything!! lol Me and Shell in out shiney silver tracksuits with big vaccuum cleaner backpacks on..."Who ya gonna call!? GHOSTBUSTERS!!" ....=D just kidding but, u get the idea.

FRIDAY
We did the Royal London walking tour which went for a few hours and finished about lunch time, then we met a friend that I used to work with back in Australia for lunch. it was nice to catch up with him again and find out how hes doing. We all trecked out to Hampton court underground/train station in the attempts to go to Hampton court palace but directions got a little confusing with specifics on HOW exactly to get there and which bus to take etc (we probably shoulda asked someone else..) so we ended up going to the Andy Warhol exhibit at the Hayward Gallery. That is seriously one twisted guy.

little bit of Shell, and me on the big bus =D
..Andy Warhol...O.D.D!!
We left Ben at the train station to go back to Portsmouth and went back to our hotel in Earl's Court, got changed - went to Nando's for dinner and then set off to the Cambridge Theatre to see CHICAGO!!! I love the movie and the play was well done as well although it just seemed that it was song after song after song without much 'story' in between. I understood the play cuz id seen the movie but im not entirely sure how anyone who hadnt would've coped? But still - I enjoyed it!

SATURDAY
We spent the day going over our London map and venturing back to certain places for photos... like the soldiers and hourse guards at the horse grounds... oh that was fun - a little too busy to enjoy ourselves fully, but still - we managed to get a couple photos. I have to send one back to my younger brother of me posing with the guard - true tourist style - but im his big sister and i gotta make him proud lol.

Yeah I felt sorry for him..
..idiot. Said he'd blow it up and poster it on his wall - A-W-E-S-O-M-E! ... kinda freaky actually, but nevertheless lol. Saturday was our last day in London before busing it to Manchester on Sunday, so we did the Jack the Ripper tour at night as out last venture out in London, Gawd that was entertaining, there were millions of people doing it as opposed to the ghost tour that we attended a few nights ago, they had to split the group in 2, have 2 tour guides and leave a few minutes after each other. Our guide was worth it. He did an awesome impression of a 19th century prostitue..."Naw Govnah - I swear i got me new bonnet bought for me!" .. whilst clutching a street pole with one leg wrapped around it for security and looking into the near distance with puppy dog eyes...classic lol.
