The mood at 2 AM
I can't say I saw a lot of of the city in the end but that was mainly my own fault I suppose: I should've come earlier and done the Philips museum and so on, ah well... it was brilliant anyway!
Was great to meet everyone, Texans ("How come we travel around so much? We're just a lot."), IT people ("those sessions on the TB server are set way too short, can't even go and hang my laundry, by the time I get back it has expired"), TB people ("brazil was fucking awesome"), people with cars called Tweety ("I can't believe they recognised me with the silly hat and the sunglasses"), rockers ("I have firm convictions regarding music and I believe that the music in the bar across the street is utter crap"), expat people ("my parents came to visit and wanted to go straight to Germany instead of seeing Holland. I was offended!"), normal people ("that's a rare sight, me without a beer"), me ("I can't believe it, are those pieces of frikandel??").
-- If anyone feels misquoted let me know.
It was a wonderfull and chaotic night. The next morning was proportionally painfull :D.
BTW: I stole some pictures from the various blogs on this night (either because they're really nice or because I'm on them), if you have any firm convictions about copyrights let me know as well!!
