Northwest side of Toluca is this very interesting ruin. 5 reconstructed temple platforms. One round structure dedicated to the wind god. A one of a kind skull rack in the shape of an ankh cross. A reconstructed palace complex on the flats below the temple area. The last construction phase is Aztec. The museum was not open last December. Take a meal and water, need several hours to visit all the areas. The nearby village has some top notch weaver of wool goods.
