Another meet-up with one TravBuddy in de spotlight !

Another meet-up with Brett, that’s fun guaranteed, so I joined this one too. Because of warnings about the road around Eindhoven, I traveled by train. In Eindhoven I met Patricia who was waiting at the train station for me. We walked together to our hostel and found Marthijn over there. After some starting problems with the rooms we both are settled. Brett and Erin arrived a little bit later and also Bart-Jan and Maike. At 15:30 we start walking to the Trafalgar bar, but it wasn’t open yet, so we went to another bar: the three sisters. There we had a drink and got rid off Brett J, because we need to sign his T-shirt. Then Devika and Stijn arrived and we all went to the Trafalgar bar for our birthday party. It was great meeting old and new friends. We stayed there till after 7pm and we all walked to the “wokpaleis”. But we need to take some pictures from the church that was lighted up with a lot of colors. When Maike walked in front of the church she discovered something in the ground there. TravBuddy’s from years ago where lying there. They were still smiling but did eat enough J.

Very funny Maike. We lost the group after this fun, but luckily another travbuddy was there to show us were the others were.

In the restaurant we had tables next to each other so we had a very funny diner. There was more then enough food for everybody. What do you think: 3 hours food and drinks just for €29 ,- We ordered only large beers! It shows on the photo’s. At the end Erin surprised Brett with all our presents. He did expect something but I did not think this much. Even Brett was speechless. When we left the restaurant Patricia had a last surprise for Brett. In the city of Lights we all had lit the sparklers and welcomed Brett and Erin outside J I think he liked it.

The rest of the evening it was just party time and dancing on pool tables and drinks for everybody J .

Maike gave me some instructions how to block people if they continuously want to pass between you 2 when you are talking. It worked so good that a security man from the bar asked us friendly to make more room. As we were in the mood, we spoke only English to him and act liked we didn’t understand him. A little later we left, because the music was not so good. We went to the other side of the street. We stayed here till late… The last disco we left already after 10 minutes or so. We went to our hostel and after sitting a while in my room they left me so I could go to sleep…
