Leaving room 927

I have begun to think of this room as my home. Three weeks in one place and you start to get familiar. I have also been a bit spoiled by daily room service and in-room internet. I will still have the internet when I get home, but all of the cleaning will have to be done by me.

I also come home to a large amount of work and responsibilities. It has been nice to escape for just a little while.

Things I will miss about Australia:
- cool-looking money
- maid service
- friendly people
- metric system
- Qantas airlines
- warm weather and no pollen
- great wine

Things I will not miss:
- food (It's exactly like America)
- tv (It's exactly like America)
- the 14-hour time difference
- the slow internet
- shopping (very much like America)
- Coke for A$3.20 (around US$2.80)

I guess this is the last chapter from Australia (hopefully for now). I am very much looking forward to seeing my friends and family (esp. my dogs) when I get home in about 27 hours from when I am writing this. I just have 17 hours in the air and about 3.5 hours of layover to get through first.
