8 mile hike through rain forest

The view from the bus as we were going up the mountains.
So I did a 8 mile/13km hike through the Lamington National Park. It was beautiful, if not painful. I got to walk through four different climates over the span of three hours and I got to see amazing views of the surrounding ridges and valleys. I am including only a fraction of the pictures I took because I took close to 60 and it would take forever for the internet here at the hotel to send them all. There was one really frightening part, the walk through the trees. You are up several hundred feet in the air, in treetops. You walk along these swinging bridges to get wonderful views. For safety reasons, they only want 6 people at a time to walk across each section. Right as several of us were getting to this part, a group of 45 Japanese tourists all arrived. They didn't understand the sign and all came on and overloaded the bridges and caused them to swing a bit too much. I was a little perplexed as to why their guides didnt stop them. But alas. I lived through it.
