Sacred Valley
November 21, 2008
Next day we were going to Machu Pichu, but instead of taking the train from Cusco the plan was for taking it in Ollantaytambo. By doing this we were going to go in a bus through the Sacred Valley, allowing us to see it a little bit better. The valley has been an agricultural region since the Inca empire. Through the trip we could see a lot of the land being used for different crops. You could see both men and women taking care of the land and animals. The first town we passed is Chinchero, the second Urubamba, and finally Ollantaytambo. The weather was very nice during this part of the journey.
