Panama Canal

The weather was not cooperating, it was raining, at times very hard thru most of the day while we were crossing the canal. Later I will learn that the bad weather extended to Costa Rica and San Andres island. Because it is my second time I cross from the Pacific to the Caribbean I did not mind too much the rain. Actually some of views like the jungle had a different feeling than when it was sunny. We could see the beginning of the construction for the new and bigger way. As for the actual one, it still is an amazing piece of engineering. The engineers and laborers that designed and constructed the Canal at the beginning of the 20th century did a great job. It is still been used as designed and constructed.
