Back to Lima

 During the trip back from Cusco to Lima, my wife got sick, the soroche, the high altitude sickness, got to her. We went to the pharmacy and got some soroche pills. Therefore we had a slow day and did not do too many things. In the afternoon we went to the Gold and Weapons museum. It is amazing the number of things you can see. In the underground are the gold vaults and in the ground floor the weapons. This is a private museum and belongs to the heirs of the guy that did all the collecting. If you have the time go and see it. Next day we walked a little bit around the Miraflores neighborhood, and then was time to go to Callao, to meet our ship, the Statendam.
