Day trip into the city and Westminster
Only a week left here in London (after our sooner than anticipated and somewhat impulsive decision to move to The Netherlands!) So today myself and the other half decided to make the most of his rare day off work during the week and venture into the city for more photo opportunities.
I'm desperately trying to make time to take pictures of all the typical landmarks here and anything else unusual that catches my eye. So we hopped on the tube via Central Line and Jubilee to Green Park - we were supposed to be travelling further into Westminster but the tube was SO rammed we decided to hop off early at the station closest to Buckingham Palace, hmmm much smaller than I remember but then again I was a wee sprog last time I was here!
Wandering through the Green Park itself in the sunshine enjoying a lovely reasonably priced latte from one of the stands there, we noticed the crowds gathering outside the Palace.
We then had a really, pleasant afternoon stroll along the River Thames, by the London Eye snapping away before we came across the Movium (movie museum) We got some cool looking pictures of allegedly genuine movie props but all in all a poor, overpriced tourist attraction, I'd give this place a miss even if you are a huge movie fan like us (I'll do a seperate review for this later I think so others don't waste their money here!)
