Jacopo's (Italian)

Jacopo's provides great food and excellent service at a very fair
price. The complimentary bread is excellent but also dangerous because
it is likely you'll eat so much that you won't have room for anything
else. It is slightly toasted on the outside, soft and warm on the
inside, and sprinkled with herbs. The thin-crusted pizza is simple in
the sense that the ingredients don't compete with each other. Unlike
other places, no single flavor dominates, and the tomato sauce,
cheeses, bread and toppings all complement each other very nicely.
Nothing tastes too cheesy, heavy or artificial.


The service is also very good here. Our waiter was incredibly friendly
and gave us free samples of food and drinks that we were curious about.
The service is Italian style in that they don't bring you the check
unless you specifically ask for it. After dinner, my friends and I just
hung out and chatted for another half-hour, and and no point did we
feel rushed to leave. Even though it's in Beverly Hills, the prices
were very reasonable, and a large pizza was enough to feed four people.
