Tate Modern

London Travel Blog › entry 3 of 15 › view all entries

Will get back to this once I have finished the busy period of my degree. VERY incomplete at the moment, sorry! Introducing sights, landmarks and things to do in London and some interesting places further afield

Tate Modern

The Tate Modern is a famous modern art gallery on the south bank of the river Thames in the centre of London, just opposite the Millenium Bridge and St Paul's cathedral. It is housed in a former power station and apart from its usual exhibits has special exhibits as well, like the "Earthquake Crack" in the pictures below, for example. This is actually quite a funny piece of art because several people have apparently fallen tripped over the crack and hurt themselves - surely they must have been aware it was there? ;-)
