Clymping Beach
April 4, 2007
Clymping itself does not seem to be particularly intersting, although I may be wrong as I never really explored the town itself and just went to the beach.
It is a pebble beach, so quite uncomfortable, but if you're like me you'll probably find the sea too cold for most of the year anyway. There are two entry points, one leading to a more pebbly part, one to a stretch of beach that also offers protected sanddunes. it is a great place for a quiet picnic and it seems to be a very popular spot with the local dogs. It may not be the most special place along the british coast, but it is a nice spot to have a few hours off from your everyday life and just look out to sea.
