After taking a shower and packing everything, I went downstairs to meet my aunt. She just came back from doing some shopping for the breakfast. Angelita (my cousin) and Eric were still sleeping, so the 2 of us took some time just to chat and catch up. I haven't seen her since last year and we used to be very close when she lived in Lima. She even spent some time living by us when she was a student :)
Around 11am we had breakfast. There was fresh fruit salad, yogurt, coffee (I love Cusco's coffee), milk, tea, bread, cheese, jam, just take what you want.
We still had some free time. Eric went to read, while I went to do the checking online. My aunt was preparing a small package for my parents, how sweet!!! I asked Eric if he'd like to take a walk around the city but he said he preferred me to spend more time with family. How nice!!!
We were chatting and picture time started.
It was around almost 2pm when we left. Oh! I'd miss my aunt so much... she's my favorite aunt, oh!!!! :( Well, I guess I should go to Cusco more often to see her, hehe. We took a cab to the airport and not even 10min later we were already there.
We had our boarding passes, so just needed to pay the taxes and went straight to the gate. Our flight arrived on time and we boarded at 2:30pm as expected. The flight wasn't full and I had an empty seat next to me :)
So sad to leave my aunt and the gorgeous Cusco's sky behind... well, at least I knew sunny Lima was waiting for us :)
